I received a B.A. in pure Mathematics
with departmental honors from Brandeis
University, Waltham MA, an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts
Amherst, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Boston University (advised by Prof. Stan Sclaroff in the
IVC group).
I am now a Principal Research Scientist in the
Applied Physics Laboratory at the
University
of Washington in Seattle.
Previously I was a Senior Research Scientist in the
IVC group of the
Dept. of Computer Science
at Boston University.
Prior to that,
I was a Senior Member of Technical Staff in the Video and
Image Understanding group at Systems & Technology Research,
and before that, a post-doctoral researcher with Prof. Pascal Fua
and Prof. Vincent Lepetit in the CVLab at the École
Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL). Before
pursuing my Ph.D., I contributed to machine-vision research and
development at Charles River Analytics, Inc.,
Cognex Corp., and
Amerinex
Applied Imaging, Inc.+ADCIS
SA.
